Mohawk (Gambia) and alioune kasse (Senegal) made a video for their hit song WA HA MBA NEH .The song is very meaningful and has a very strong message. The theme of the song is
about the migration of young african men to Europe. So many young africa men have lost thier lives through these unthinkable journeys. Mohawk
is currenly building a studio in the Gambia and is closely working with Dj Rolexx in their up coming club. Mohawk`s album is due in June/July 2008 and will
feature artist like alioune kasse,ayoba,dread skeezo and more.

Neighbouring Gambia is a five hour bus ride away from Darkar. The kids in Gambia have been following development of Hip Hop in Dakar on Senegalese radio and television. Many Senegalese bands have also toured in Gambia and presented their tapes there. A number of Gambian bands have also traveled to Dakar (ie Dafugitivz) mainly to record an album and make copies of their cassettes, especially since there wasn`t anybody in Gambia with experience in programming Hip Hop tracks. until recently.
